Ling
Overview
Ling (靈) is an immersive live dance work built around the origin of the character 靈: rain above, the mouth in prayer, and the shaman below — an image of sustained calling that extends toward the sacred. The performance combines live-coded moving graphics, projection mapping, stage lighting, and sculptural materials (fabric and clay) to create a shifting ritual space.
Music
Live stereo composition developed alongside the dance narrative and written to an existing choreography. The score matches movement and pacing, and also functions as performance cues—marking timing, transitions, and key production beats. It builds a ritual arc from restraint to release so sound, light, and projection land as one environment.
