LAPIS is the sound practice led by Chleo Li.
What's considered "background" is often the very thing holding the structure together.
The work begins with cross-sensory perception — the pitch of a colour, the hum of a texture, whether a material sounds soft before it is touched — and builds outward into systems and pattern, an approach shaped by a background in philosophy and information experience design.
